Buying EQ2 Plat For The Beginner

I thought this week I would run down the actual process of buying EQ2 plat and how it works, for those of you stumbling on the site looking for guidance.
The very first thing you need to do is decide on how much plat you want to buy, then do some comparison shopping at the various sites. Prices do vary like any commodity, and will even be different from server to server depending on each server’s unique economy. (One site you might check for starters is Mogs.com, we have used them before and been happy with delivery time and pricing.)
When you’ve found a supplier that you think you can trust, you will select your server, and the amount of plat. You will be asked for your credit card and EQ2 account information, so make sure it’s a secure site. Depending on the site, you might need to talk to a real person on the phone to confirm.
This is where the magic happens. After a variable wait (depending on the site you chose, and also the amount you’re dealing with—usually between 5 and 30 minutes, but up to 48 hours in some cases) you have your shiny new plat!
Pretty easy huh? So get out there and buy EQ2 Plat like there’s no tomorrow! Heh, just kidding, be careful and shop around :) Till next week….
